World cup records that might never be broken.

 

The world cup organized by the federation internationale de football association which was first held in Uruguay on the 13th of July 1930.

The game has continued every four years till this day and with players around the world in the process of giving their best for their country at the world cup made records that have not been broken till date.


Some of the records are

1. Brazil. Most world cup appearance, playing in 27 tournaments.

2.carlos ruiz. Being the overall goal scorer at the world cup with 39 goals.



3. Lothar mattaus. Player with the most games played at the FIFA world cup, playing over 25 matches in four different tournament.



4. Pele. Player with most assist at the world cup with 8 assists.



5. Pele. Player with the most world cup trophies



6. Olen salenko. Most goals scored in a single world cup match (5 goals).



7. Sandor Kocsis. Most world cup hatricks (2)



8. Peter shilton and fabien barthez. Most clean sheets (most matches without conceding a goal).

9. Brazil. Most world cup wins. ( 73 matches)

10. Brazil. Most goals scored (229)
